Yoga-urt procures to-go containers made from natural fiber materials like wood/paper that can be composted in Glendale's Commercial Organics Recycling program. Yoga-urt does their part for recovering edible food by reusing their extracted almond pulp (left over from making vegan yogurt) in pie crusts and cookies for their ice cream sandwiches. In line with AB 1276, unbundled disposable utensils and straws are provided only upon customer request. Nearly all paper janitorial products are unbleached, including paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, and paper bags. To reduce toxins flowing down the drain after cleaning, Yoga-urt purchases only non-toxic and green certified cleaning products.
