Island Packers is an authorized concessioner to the Channel Islands National Park. We provide safe professional transportation to the Channel Islands and surrounding waters while sharing environmentally conscious interpretation to educate and increase the public’s awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of the resource. We run out of both Channel Islands and Ventura Harbors, with offices in both locations. Our fleet consists of one 64’ monohull vessel and three 65’ catamarans.
Why we're Green
Because we have been “thinking green” since our inception, we don’t feel that there were challenges to overcome in this process, but rather opportunities to take a fresh look at our operation and best practices. The resources provided here helped us create a few new habits in our offices, including a new bulk packaging recycling program and a composting program.
