At Congregational Church of Soquel, we celebrate a Christian faith shaped by the simplicity and power of God's love, made known in Scripture and revealed in the life of Jesus Christ. True to our Congregational tradition, we gather not around a creed but a mutual covenant.
Why we're Green
We have changed to compact florescent lights and to T-8s for florescent tube lights. All toilets at facility are low flow 1.5/1.6 gallon/flush. We have a solid waste recycling program. Reduced paper consumption by converting to our monthly newsletter to an electronic version only. Drip irrigation landscaping, We produce most of our electricity with our own solar panels
And... we have a burning desire to do even better!
