The San Jose Conservation Corps and Charter School is a non-profit organization that provides youth with a quality high school education and teaches valuable work and life skills that empower them to become responsible, productive, and caring citizens.
Why we're Green
Both of our sites have a recycling program, including beverage containers and fiber. We plan to re-start a Zero Waste recycling program in the near future. We also recycle such materials as e-waste, used oil, and used tires for 150+ recycling clients in the South Bay Area. We have expanded our job-training projects to include weatherization/energy efficiency, solar/PV, and water conservation. We were certified as a County of Santa Clara/Bay Area green business from 2006-09.
