When building a new retail space, Patagonia carefully chooses older buildings to help refurbish and revitalize within the chosen community. While we are proud to hold space in a 115 year old brick building in downtown Palo Alto, we definitely hit road blocks that come with old buildings. Renovations have been made frequently through our history in this building, including reducing heat loss, and installing low flow plumbing and an electric water heater. Thanks to CAGBN, we were able to replace an old second hand fridge in our breakroom with an energy efficient one.
