Why we're Green
LAWA is on a mission to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. Environmental challenges within our business practices included waste from single-use plastics and paperwork, old fixtures and furniture, lighting equipment, and energy sources. In order for LAWA to get Certified, energy efficient lighting and appliances were put in place in order tor educe energy consumption. Consumer recycled paper products are also in use throughout the business in order to reduce the environmental footprint of our business. Given the massive transportation needs of LAWA, we have been expanding our electric vehicle and alternative fuel fleet and promote internal ride share programs. Further expansion of all these programs will help LAWA achieve its sustainable goals.
