Cross Point Fellowship is a growing community church that enjoys helping people know God and experience Him as they move through life. We are a joy-filled church where people are loved, safe and cared for. We are committed to helping people grow and supporting them as they navigate all areas of life including their faith, relationships, jobs, finances and more. We also enjoy being a blessing to others and have a vibrant Community Service Team that helps with yard work, home repairs, free thermal imaging (home energy efficiency) and more. Why we're Green
Cross Point is committed to being a good steward not only of our resources but also of God’s creation. With that in mind, when we purchased and renovated our new building, we made significant investments in converting to 100% LED lighting, all new HVAC systems, new energy efficient windows, new roof and wall insulation and energy system controls. Cross Point is now so energy efficient that we have received a grade of 95/100 by the US Department of Energy’s Energy Star Program!
In addition to our own initiatives, we found the UC Green Business application process to be helpful and challenging in a healthy way. We have enhanced our recycling efforts, now have a composting program and are exploring new energy saving initiatives. Michael D’Arcy, Ulster County’s Environmental Outreach Manager, was easy to work with and a great resource for information on a wide variety of sustainable energy solutions and practices.
