We went "green" because we are citizens of Earth. We tend to care for the planet and its inhabitants. This isn't virtue signaling, nor a partisan statement of any sort. It is just common sense. If there is a better way to do things that helps the planet, even in small ways, why shouldn't we go "green"? Why shouldn't any business? So, what did we do (so far)? To date, we've gone paperless for 95% of our workflow. For example, our new client intake process no longer uses any paper. This hasn't just saved trees, but it's also made our client's lives easier. We also instituted a recycling program for paper, bottles, cans, etc. We also invested in a battery recycling bin so that we can collect used batteries from anyone who wants to drop them off. All lighting within our office is dependent on motion detectors, thus saving carbon, as well. We've also adopted the use of earth-friendly cleaning products. We intend to do more though!
